Prayer is fundamental part of what it means to
be a Christian. God wants us to talk with him. At Peace we offer a variety
of ways to participate in prayer for others and to request prayer for
yourself or someone you know.

Our Prayer Chain is managed by Sally Coble. Prayer requests are emailed to her and she forwards these requests to all those members who have indicated their commitment to pray for these needs. If you have a prayer request or wish to be included in the emailing of the requests send an email to church office.
Prayers of the Church If you have a prayer concern that you want included in the prayers of the church which are said out loud during our Sunday morning worship, contact church office or the pastoral staff. |

TW0 Pi To construct a solid foundation in your prayer relationship with God, consider growing in all of the five key elements of prayer: Thanksgiving
Wow! + Praise is as essential as breathing for the life of a Christian + Adoring God for who God is and for what God does helps energize our lives + To stand in God's presence is to be on Holy Ground, the only response is awe and wonder + There is a power in being able to say WOW! We connect to the source, we see beyond ourselves, we humbly acknowledge our place in creation Oops + Linguistic experts tell us that "oops" is the most universally understood expression + It is a word of confession, cleansing, unloading, acknowledging our mistakes + We confession for what we have done and left undone in thought, word and deed + Hebrew word for prayer literally means to struggle with oneself + God promises in our baptism that we will be forgiven for every OOPS no matter how big or small Petition + Petitions are requests for yourself. God encourages us to ask for help + Important to know what we want and to be able to talk to God about what + Growing as a Christian means, in part, to get what we desire together with what God desires for us - that process is a journey + We can even ask for help in our prayer life intercession + Intercession is asking for God for help for other + The farewell discourses in John's Gospel are filled with the intercessory prayers of Jesus on our behalf + Do we believe that our prayers for others make a difference? God CHOOSES to be influenced by our prayers on behalf of others. God values a relationship with us and wants us to know that we can participate with him in caring for others in this way + The greatest thing we can do for those we love is to lift them closer to the One who loves them best + No more sweeter words we can say to another than, "I have mentioned you by name in my prayers." + Prayer changes us and moves us to service
